VIII. Installation guide

It's reccomended to use the TWRP recovery and the latest Bootloader and Modem version.

N910U users:
All issues have been fixed, just flash the modem and bootloader for your device then flash the ROM dedicated for N910U following the flash guide bellow.

For SimplROM v4C users, Flash THIS, to fix your noise issue.

N910C/H users:
Make sure you flash the correct Bootloaders and Modems for your devices.
Bootloader and Modem have been uploaded for N910C/H/U to the download folder.



Extra Tips
SimplRom V6C:

• - DO NOT FLASH ANYTHING FROM PREVIOUS VERSIONS.

SimplRom V5C:

• - DO NOT FLASH ANYTHING FROM PREVIOUS VERSIONS.

SimplRom V4C:

• - DO NOT FLASH ANYTHING FROM PREVIOUS VERSIONS.
• - I highly recommend flashing a custom kernel of your choice.
• - If you wanna use Stock Kernel, make sure you set SuperSU default access to Grant for ROOT access.
• - To install Xposed, Update binarySU, Set SuperSU to Grant, and flash the APK.
• - Whenever there is an add-on/ROM Update, you will receive it on the OTA.
• - If OTA shows "null", Make sure you're connected to Playstore.
• - If there is a ROM update, it is very important that you install that update as we would make important changes to the ROM.
• - MultiDPI Apps will be updated from time to time, do check your OTA.
• - Anything new will be announced here.

Flashable Fixes:

• Dialer MDPI V1.zip : is a first experimental version for a multiDPI dialer, works best at 480 dpi at the moment.
• Floating Messages.zip : Fixes Floating Messages feature.
• Fully Functional Dialer without MDPI.zip : is the dialer that comes with SimplRom.
• Stock Contacts.zip : if you have made a nandriod restore and you couldn't find the dialer even after flashing the original ones, then this is your ultimate solution.

SimplRom V3C:

• - We have added few extra wifi settings, and due to that, wifi is going to be manual by default, to make it back automatic, go to wifi settings then Advanced then Set Network Connection Method = Automatic.
• - Many people complained about facing various issues after flashing the Rom with CWM, Use TWRP to avoid these issues.
• - Screen Pinning works fine, but if it won't unpin, go to Settings, Accessibility, all the way on the bottom look in the Services, it's probably all disabled then,tap on one of them, disable it, enable it again, and after that the unpinning works.
• - The Themes can be used for SimplRom v3C only.

Universal steps to install SimplRom:

1. Make sure you have flashed the latest bootloader for your device through Odin.
2. Reboot you smartphone to the recovery
3. Wipe Data
4. Wipe Cache
5. Wipe dalvik cache
6. Wipe System
7. Install zip
8. Reboot
9. Wait until it boots*

Note: Your first boot after the update will take a little longer than normal so don’t be worried.
Grab a cup of coffee and let it take its time to boot.
