Just few hours into the new year, rumors has been going round about the yet unfold Apple latest smartphone IPhone 5s, though I learnt Apple won't be calling the phone 5S because they believe IPhone 4 had a lot of trouble during it first few days of release from consumers(like you) so instead of making IPhone 5 same year of the IPhone 4(which is unusual) so they named the new smart phone "IPhone 4S".
Now that we have IPhone 5 in market doing tremendously well, App developers have confirmed that Apple are currently testing the new Iphone 6 which is coming with iOS 7 on the apps been developed for IPhone 5.
A usage log from the popular apps in App store tells that the iPhone 5 is identified in app usage logs as 'iPhone 5,1' and 'iPhone 5,2' depending on which 4G LTE it uses, so the new 'iPhone 6,1' identifier is believed to be Apple's next generation model.
As noted by TNW, OS and device data can be faked, but the 'iPhone 6,1' has been traced back to an IP address in Apple's Cupertino headquarters, adding evidence to the theory that Apple is testing its seventh generation iPhone and the seventh iteration of its mobile operating system on popular apps in the App Store.
It's believed that Apple began working on iOS 7 towards the end of 2012, and that the company will soon finalise the features that we will get when the new software is released this year.
However The Commercial Times estimates that full commercial production of the rumoured iPhone 5S will begin as early as Q1 2013, with the December run expected to have made between 50,000 and 100,000 units.
Apple is also rumoured to have developed a second generation of its iPad mini with a higher resolution screen that could also go on sale this year(2013).
Well fingers are crossed let's just watch and see its still a new year tho hahaha!!!
